IICRC stands for The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. In the restoration industry IICRC determines the standards and provides training and certification to restoration companies. If your property is in need of restoration services it's important that you choose an IICRC certified firm. IICRC certified firms must meet many requirements: 

• The firm must present accurate information to consumers and conduct business with honesty and integrity.
• A technician, who has been formally trained and passed all required tests, is required on all jobs.
• Technicians must participate in continuing education programs to keep up-to-date on the latest changes in the industry.
• The firm must have liability insurance, to protect all parties in the event of an accident.
• The firm must maintain a written complaint policy and agree to Better Business Bureau or similar arbitration to resolve disputes, and accept the conclusions and recommendations of arbitration.
